Why Spanish for your kid?

kids find it much easier to learn a language than adults, as they use the parts of the brain that control unconscious actions.  A second language is one of the best gifts you can give your child. It is becoming increasingly clear that Spanish is a particularly prudent choice. It is considered a "super language", it is the second most spoken language in the world! It is also one of the easiest to learn for native English speakers.

How does it work?

We offer individual classes which keep children excited and motivated, with regular changes in activities to help them stay focused. We know that every child is different and requires a personalized learning path. We make sure to keep an eye on your child's progress during their time with us so that they constantly improve their Spanish and confidence in the language.

Our online Spanish classes are held via Zoom, so we can use interactive features, your kids can draw and write on the 'whiteboard' and we can play videos and music within the app so your kids don't have to access any external content. 

You Say Hola Spanish School Online offers a tailored Spanish program for children aged 9 and up, consisting of three levels, each divided into 5 modules:

  • BEGINNER LEVEL 1 (MODULES 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5)

  • BEGINNER LEVEL 2 (MODULES 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5)

  • ELEMENTARY LEVEL (MODULES 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5)​

Each module spans 16 hours of learning, with a total of 80 hours per level, and 240 hours for the complete Kids Program. Our primary objective is to help students develop their Spanish communication skills in a fun and supportive environment. The program covers speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension, all while students engage with the language through interactive activities, games, songs, stories, and cultural exploration.

Each module is paired with its own textbook, designed to guide students at every step with clear explanations, engaging visuals, and interactive exercises, fostering steady progress and confidence in their Spanish abilities.

BEGINNER LEVEL 1 In this level, students are introduced to basic phrases and vocabulary related to their everyday environment, such as family, school, and daily routines. They will practice introducing themselves and answering common questions. Students will learn:

  • Basic expressions used at home and school

  • Descriptions of people and objects

  • Activities involving numbers, such as telling the time

  • Vocabulary for school locations and staff

  • Formal and informal expressions

  • Descriptions of their surroundings

BEGINNER LEVEL 2 At this stage, students can engage in brief conversations about themselves and learn how to address others (formally or informally). Beginner Level 2 continues to expand their knowledge, allowing students to:

  • Broaden their vocabulary with words related to animals and nearby places

  • Compare two or more objects

  • Express likes and dislikes using verbs

  • Use common verbs in the simple past tense

  • Learn about countries and nationalities

  • Ask questions using "where," "when," and "how much"

  • Use expressions for asking permission and giving directions

ELEMENTARY LEVEL By this level, students have developed all four foundational language skills. The Elementary Level builds on this with more advanced topics, while still keeping the content appropriate for their age group. In these final five modules, students will:

  • Use connectors to enhance vocabulary and fluency

  • Identify personal belongings using possessives

  • Describe ongoing actions with common verbs related to their activities

  • Share and compare cultures through global celebrations

  • Improve their formal and informal writing

The program provides a strong foundation for continued language learning, preparing students to apply their Spanish skills in educational, personal, and social contexts. Through interactive lessons, games, and cultural activities, each student is encouraged to explore and practice the language in a positive, enjoyable setting that inspires further learning.

Your child's safety is our priority

We use the strictest security features and ensure that anyone entering our classrooms has to use a password and ask for permission. Once all the children are inside the classroom, the classroom is locked so that no one else can enter. Our teachers must also provide a background check in order to work with the Kids. We take the safety of our students and families very seriously
